Indulging in a world of mine

from wad i see and hear.. it seems like most pple are pretty excited
and enjoying themselves during this festive period.. for some reasons
unfortunately.. i'm not one of those.. but weird though.. knowing tt
most of them.. esp my frens.. are enjoying.. i feel happy for them..
somehow.. i felt happy for a moment.. maybe tt's the best i can get
out of it?

today marks the eve of chinese new year.. will be having a simple
dinner at home later.. my sis and bro will be back for dinner.. but
they will be leaving real soon.. to their next stop.. for another
dinner.. 2 reunion dinners in a day.. fattening? or sign of double
happiness for 2 families? but its gg to be nice though.. i guess..

tis wk happens to be my term break as well.. and since friday.. i haven
been doing much.. finally got my cny clothes on sunday.. got myself a
pair of shoes and a top.. wasn't really wad i'm looking for.. but.. i
jus got them wit the intention of jus bypassing the cny as quickly as
possible.. anyway.. every yr is the same.. dressed up jus for show..
dun really see a pt..

if you guys happen to be following my posts.. the past few posts i had
are some net stories.. and for some reasons.. they jus happened to be
flooded in to me at the same period.. and some food for thought aft
reading them.. i alys hav this tinking tt there's 6 billion humans in
tis earth.. every sec.. someone dies.. every sec.. a newborn baby adds
to the count.. every day.. each has his/her own story to be told..
every day.. each has his/her fair share of joy and sadness..

was reminded every now and then.. tt we shld appreciate things.. dun
take things for granted.. but seriously.. when u are in the midst of
enjoyment.. do u pause for a moment and tink of the less fortunate?
thank god or wadsoever for the time you had? i alys believe tt.. when
you are enjoying over at some place.. someone is actually suffering
wit his/her probs.. since we can nv do much abt it.. the best we can
do.. is to enjoy as much as we can for the benefit of those who cant?

as i typed.. i tink you guys muz be having this thinking in ur mind..
"why are you alys commenting abt these pessimistic stuff?" true...
no doubt abt it.. wad i post are alys pessimistic and sad things.. so
dun i hav some happy moments to share? well.. everyone has his/her
fair share of joy.. but its often tt u do rmb them more than anything
else.. sad and hurting things.. u will jus chuck them at the back of
ur brain.. and tt's when we dun learn from our mistakes?

ok.. shall not dwell much into it.. cny is meant to be a happy occasion
everyone shld be enjoying themselves.. gamble.. eat.. play.. catch up
with your relatives.. but is tt the real significance? dunno... and
its only during cny then we do tt? well.. probably very true.. cos the
rest of the time.. we are doing our stuff.. and of cos.. tis is the only
time we get to hav extra income.. for those married or grown ups..
too bad..

and soon.. it will be valentine's day.. happen to fall on the 6th day
of the lunar calendar.. and if i'm nt wrong 7th day of the lunar calendar
is the so-called 'ren ri'.. tt's when we all will 'lau yu sheng'..
saw Crys post in her blog.. abt wad her frens will be getting for their
'ones'.. basic thing to give: TLC? maybe roses? a simple dinner?

for those who are jus in the beginning phase of their relationship.. i
tink its gg to be easier.. to these couples.. all the funny.. romantic
ideas will be fighting and rushing out of their brains.. but for those
who are ald "old" couples.. i reckon it might be kinda tough.. all
the fresh exciting ideas are ald exhausted.. and then.. you will jus
settle for a simple meal.. not to say its anything bad.. but scroll down
to my previous post.. abt "The fundamentals of love".. any advice from
me? unfortunately no..

for me.. this week.. cny and valentine's day.. i'll be indulging myself
in my own world.. hopefully get myself into gear to get started for my
projs.. and of cos to settle on the courses i want to take and apply for
my University place asap..

for all those reading this.. happy chinese new year.. enjoy as much as u
can.. at least for the benefit of those who can't.. feel free to let me
know abt the joys you hav.. something to cheer me up perhaps..

for all those in relationships.. happy valentine's day in advance.. forget
about vexing wad to get for your partner.. jus tell him/her u love him/her..
cherish him/her.. everything else are jus supplementary.. and of cos.. pls
preach wad u said and promised to him/her.. words are cheap.. actions speak
volumes..

won't be online tt often esp in msn during this period..
and if i didn't respond back to u..
dun worry abt if i'm ok..
