Simplicity is the fundamental of all happiness

Continuing my post yesterday, i was mentioning about my work at Levi's and there are some series of events that happened throughout this period and they make me see another side of this world.

Recalling back to the first few days of work in Levi's, it's not difficult for me to realise that everyone has his/her own tales waiting to be told. If my memory hasn't fail on me, on my 5th day of work, Desmond and i hang out after work and we started discussing about our past. And that's when i learnt about Desmond's band and his own tales. Everyone definitely has his/her own sad past and somehow they will linger in one's mind for as long as he/she can remember. May it be sad or happy memories, one is forced to remember them.

Not sure how many of you guys have been following my previous posts, but i'll just mention it here again, Desmond is my colleague and pretty much a emo-guy. He wrote a song for a gal after his unfortunate break-up with her. Of cos, many of you guys might just shrugged it as he is just doing something to make himself feel good. Just a piece of fair note, i must say, you guys might feel that the song may just be a way of relieving his sorrow or pain, but it's more than that. The song literally changed a guy. Someone who used to be involved in fights, a guy with a big-ass attitude has now changed to someone who will discipline himself to jamming every Tuesdays and Fridays with his band. One who will do anything, almost everything to make sure his band has every single chance to perform at any gigs or even Dinner and Dance for Levis'. Now tell me, is he trying to do all this simply just only to relieve his sad past? Or it's a change in the mindset of a guy?

To some extent, one grows at every stage of our life, may it be positive or negative influence, we are responsible for who we are.

We, young adults at the age of 18-20, probably relationships is all that we have in mind. We will be trying hard to go after someone who we hope to be able to secure our fragile spiritual minds. Someone who we hope to be able see and hear whenever we need him/her. And often it is also something which will brings out all the evil side of us.

Ida, another colleague of mine, was telling me that ever since she started work in Levi's, she's been down with tears everyday without fail. Cause? It's down to relationship matters yet again. Something i don't understand about some guys out there. Why is it that you will want your girlfriend to delete all the contacts of her guy-friends in her mobile, forbides her to talk to other guys, question her about why she's so close to her colleagues, demand her to quit her job just because there are too many guys working nearby? Call this possessive or anything you wish, but i'll call this J-A-I-L.

And the best thing, at the end of the day, you tell the girl, "I control you is because i love you and i hate to lose you". Read between the lines man. I bet any moron out there is able to tell you, the more you continue being a jerk, the higher the chance is that you will be alone at the end of the day. Sometimes, it's also fair to say that, perhaps you have a wonderful girlfriend that attracts tonnes of bees and butterflies, but if a girl is one who will be easily attracted by them, is she the one for you? Of cos, there are alot more other factors for one to lose his/her promises to someone and head for another one, but it's down to one fundamental; happy.

Sure you can control your guy/girl as if he/she is your pet or something. After all, it's all about; one dares to hit and one is willing to bear the blow. Trust, understanding, care and concern, all these are just bullshit then. Cos, having a partner is just to make him/her abide to your say and demand this and that.

Of cos, there are also fair share of loving couples i have seen. Regardless of whether you're in a bad relationship or not, at the end of the day, if A + B = more sadness than you should A - B to get more happiness.

Best solution? Simplicity.

Simple is the cheapest and the best word to get happiness. Just take my colleagues for example. Desmond will probably be jumping up and down if he will to be able to get a sponsor for his band, to do a 1 night live pay-per-view band performance which is exclusive to their band only. And for Ida, she will probably be smiling brightly away if she will to receive some Roxy wallets or slippers. And come to think again, these things aren't even close to the big word call "relationship". How ironic.

"Sorry, i can't be perfect.."

Heard before this line somewhere? Being able to accept the fact that no one is that perfect in this world, we should learn to accept the imperfection side of one. Instead of whining what one isn't, accepting what one is, makes yourself and your 'one' more happy.

All animals except man know that the ultimate of life is to enjoy it.
