"Apple Tree"

A long time ago there was a tree. A little boy loved to come and
play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top,ate the apples,
took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved
to play with him. Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he
no longer played around the tree everyday.

One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. "Come
and play with me," the tree asked the boy. "I am no longer a kid,
I don't play around trees anymore." The boy replied, "I want toys.
I need money to buy them." "Sorry, but I don't have money... but you
can pick all my apples and sell them. So,you will have money."

The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and
left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples.
The tree was sad.

One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited. "Come and
play with me" the tree said. "I don't have time to play. I have to
work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?"
"Sorry, but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches
to build your house." So the boy cut all the branches of the tree
and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy
never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was delighted.
"Come and play with me!" the tree said. "I am sad and getting old.
I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?" "Use
my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy"
So the boy cut the tree truck to make a boat. He went sailing and
never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years. "Sorry,
my boy. But I don't have anything for you anymore. No more
apples for you..." the tree said. "I don't have teeth to bite" the boy
replied. "No more trunk for you to climb on." "I am too old for
that now" the boy said. "I really can't give you anything ... the
only thing left is my dying roots" the tree said with tears.

"I don't need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all
these years." The boy replied. "Good! Old tree roots is the best
place to lean on and rest. Come, sit down with me and rest." The
boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears...

This is a story of everyone. The tree is our parent.

When we were young, we loved to play with Mom and Dad...When
we grow up, we leave them... only come to them when we need
something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents
will always be there and give everything they could to make you
happy. You may think the boy is cruel to the tree but that's
how all of us are treating our parent.

Please enlighten all your friends by And start loving your parents...

attitude problem needed to be changed? anyway.. let
me be sick for some time.. need a break.

in the midst of busy days.. ever think back about the childhood days
u had? young innocent side of you? or the naughty menace side?

Countdown to Examinations

allow me to do some blogging with the free time i had now.. saw my
exams timetable jus today.. 1st paper is gg to be on the 7th of
April, 2nd on the 13th and last on the 14th.. tt's abt a month's
time to my last exams for the upcoming 2 years.. wonder if i shld
be happy abt it.. or am i gg to miss it real bad? but.. i doubt i
will miss it.. at least for now.. i'm sticking wit tis thinking of
mine.. tt exams is really jus a test of memory to me.. i never
felt that exams is a real test of knowledge.. cos i'm pretty sure..
90% of wad we memorized during the study time never ever gets
retained in our fully-soaked tiny-mini-pea sponge-brain..

pretty tough wk coming up.. report due tml.. proj demo and case study
due on thurs.. NE seminar and job fair to attend on wed.. another
seminar on fri morning.. speaking abt hell-week? there's NUS open
house this coming sat.. still considering if i will attend it.. maybe
if i managed to get accompany, i'll put tt in my to-do-list.. but for
now.. still in pending mode..

been a rather busy 2wks.. thus didn't really do much updating to my
blog.. and i'm getting some feedback abt my blog being stagnant..
another interesting word for me to learn though..

been rushing my proj for the last wk..so much so that i had to stay up
till 7am on the day of presentation to get the compilation done.. and
its not considered done with numerous missing parts.. after the
presentaton, was told tt its pretty tough for us to get a gd grade..
and wad my lecturer meant for gd grade.. is.. jus a B..

had couple of tests too.. and they aren't really worth mentioning..
the last one i had was a practical test for my logistics.. and yes.. its
badly done.. didn't managed to get the last 3 questions answered.. got
back 2 quizzes too.. 80% for my java, 75% for my internet security..
rather disappointed wit the IS paper.. even though its true/false quiz,
its badly done.. now i noe why my com's internet security is vulnerable
to virus attacks!

went Billy Bombers few days back.. with guild members.. let's discuss
abt the food over there first.. the only thing i can put forwards as
nice and worth mentioning is the serving.. portions are reasonable..
anything more than tt.. its a straight fail.. from service to waiting
time.. i would highly and strongly recommend anyone gg there with pms
and empty stomach to KEEP OUT from there.. cos the last thing you want
to do when u are pretty pissed and super hungry.. is to smash the
table upside down and demanded a refund for wad you get..

wonder if you guys reading this realised.. even though the food took
very long to arrive.. thus we presume its due to the cooking time they
needed aft our order.. but the food is never in a real-hot fresh from
oven state.. not to mention that they need to bring their staff to some
photography lessons.. ok.. i'm jus being rather critical here.. but
even simple food eater like me dun feel that gd abt tt place.. i believe
food critics will definitely give them a low grade of perhaps 4/10..
lastly.. comments given by me does not represent general public opinions..
so.. feel free to try them ourselves.. and feel free to comment here aft
u tried it.. or if u ald had.. share wit us ur opinions..

pleasant meeting wit the guild people.. overall.. they fit rather well to
wad i hav expected prior to the meeting.. for which many would hav raised
their arms now to argue on tt.. but its all abt personal perspective.. so
i leave it for further discussion some other time..

lastly.. jus want to share an interesting or rather..i shld say..
good site to look out for.. esp if you are still into programming stuff..

not really sure if can get free registration now.. but i managed to
get one way back in 2004.. and now... i'm finding it very useful..
simple explanation on wad and how it does.. aft u signed up.. u get a
certain free pts.. and with them.. u can post questions.. assigning
some pt to thequestion in the particular section of the language u wish
to seek helpor advice for.. and the other users will come to answer your
question andof cos.. you get to decide who gets the allocated pts for
a gd ans to your question..

for eg.. for my last proj.. i post at the JSP section.. seeking help to
do up my upload pictures for my proj.. and within 2 days i got it done..
there's quite many experts over there.. jus like wad the site name
would hav suggested.. thumbs up for the site.. but its a shame for that
if i'm not wrong.. you hav to pay now to register.. and that aft my pts
are exhausted.. i will hav to pay for more.. but overall.. a real gd
site to seek for programming help..

last but not least, i've changed to a new song for the wk..

Mixed emotions

been a rather long time since i last blogged.. was tied up wit my
projs.. and worst still.. my com crash last wkends.. tink it got
virus attack.. my system file was missing or corrupt.. spend a
fortune to get it back wit all my files intact.. tough luck..

not much mood to type anything at the moment.. jus wish me luck
for my last 2 mths in poly.. till then..
